How to install EASE Focus
EASE Focus usually ships as a zipped installer. The software is based on the new .NET platform from Microsoft, so on some computers you will need to install the .NET framework 1.1 first. You can download the latest version from:
After that, install the application onto your computer. Due to its nature the software does not have a copy protection. It may be distributed freely.
MS Windows Vista
For MS Windows Vista you will also need Service Pack SP1 for .NET Framework 1.1, it can be found here:

Also note that you will usually need administrator rights for the installation. To suppress the security messages you may consider switching off user account control (UAC).
MS Windows 98

EASE Focus - 6th Release v1.55 (12th Sep 2007)
Compared to v1.40 this software includes the following changes:
- New measuring functions for distance and delay: For a differential read-out keep Ctrl and the left mouse button pressed when moving the mouse.
- AutoSplay functions revised and extended, among other things especially for groundstack situations
- System Info section revised
- Extended display of Warnings
- Changes for Vista compatibility
- Several minor improvements and bugfixes

Notes: The installer also includes two imaginary arrays as an example.
Additional system definitions can be downloaded directly using the online update.
The language of the software can be switched from within the program (Options, F9).
EASEFocus155_cd.zip - CD installer for the EASE Focus Aiming Software
Size: 2MB
Notes: This installer is intended to be used for an auto-run CD and does not include any data files.
Data files to be installed must be placed in the /data/ subdirectory.
To be able to see data updates from all manufacturers in the online update, the file "Update.ini" can be created in the /data/ subdirectory.
All files from this directory will be copied to the System Definitions directory of EASE Focus during installation.
For the convenience of the user the .NET framework as linked above should be added to the CD content as well.
The language of the software can be switched from within the program (Options, F9).
